Pauper players,

shuffle up!

On 25 October the legendary Conne Island in Leipzig will be all about the format we love: 128 players fighting for 1st place in seven rounds of Pauper. Welcome to Common Island!

After holding Common Cause with our friends in TastyMTG, Germany’s biggest Pauper tournament yet, we, the Leipzig-based Pauper to the People community, invite you to a new installment of Pauper tournaments.

There will be food, there will be prizes, there will be drinks and there will be merch - everything you need to celebrate Magic’s most awesome format with us and your friends in one of the coolest locations the city of Leipzig has to offer.

One whole day about Pauper, about us as a community and about you and your fighting spirit.

Do you have what it takes to battle it out in Germany’s biggest Pauper tournament? Show us on October 25th at Common Island!

Get your tickets today at tixforgigs.com and stay tuned for further updates and news!

About us

We, the open Leipzig Magic group Pauper to the People, have been playing Pauper and other formats together on a regular basis for almost 10 years. What started as a group of friends trying out a budget friendly competitive Magic format has now become one of the biggest community driven Magic projects in Europe! This includes social Pauper evenings, internal prereleases, organised meetings for newer players and of course our great Pauper league.

We want to play in an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable, no matter where you come from, who you are, or how long you have been playing Magic. This requires everyone to treat each other with respect and solidarity, which is what we want from all participants. We are united in our desire for a society without oppression and in our goal to create a supportive gaming environment.

Venue & Location

We’re hosting the event at the wonderful Conne Island. As there aren't a lot of parking spaces available at conne, we recommend arriving by public transport. There might be catering at the event (we'll keep you updated) but there are also multiple options to grab food close by along the Wolfgang-Heinze-Straße close to the venue.

The venue and restrooms are wheelchair accessible.

Address: Koburger Str. 3, 04277 Leipzig
